Join the Ethical Town Clean Event in Akihabara!

On May 23rd, 2025, from 11:00 AM, ethicame, an eco-friendly lifestyle store, will hold its 26th Town Clean event in the vibrant area surrounding Akihabara Station. This initiative, organized by PS International, aims to create a cleaner environment while promoting sustainable living practices.

Participants are encouraged to join hands in collecting litter, helping to maintain the beauty of our streets. All the necessary equipment, such as gloves, tongs, and waste collection bags, will be provided by ethicame. There’s no need to bring anything but your enthusiasm for keeping the environment clean!

Event Overview

• - Date and Time: May 23rd, 2025, starting at 11:00 AM.
• - Duration: Approximately 1 hour, ending around 12:00 PM.
• - Meeting Point: JR Akihabara Station, Electric Town Exit. Look out for staff wearing light blue vests who will guide you.

Please make sure to come dressed comfortably. We suggest bringing sun hats, sweat towels, and drinks for hydration during the clean-up activities. Note that we will not be able to store personal belongings, so we recommend traveling light.

What is the ‘Town Clean’?

The Town Clean initiative is designed to bring community members together to clean up various areas while fostering an ecological mindset. It began in the Tamachi area where PS International's headquarters are located and has since expanded to cover multiple stations along the JR Yamanote Line. The current event highlights an ongoing commitment to environmental health and sustainable practices.

• - In case of rain at 7 AM on the day of the event, check ethicame's official Instagram for cancellation notices: ethicame Instagram.
• - Pre-registration is required; participants without registration may be turned away.
• - Please note that joining the activity mid-way is not permitted, so arrive on time.
• - While we will do our best to assist in case of any accidents during the clean-up, participants acknowledge that the responsibility cannot be assumed by the organizers.
• - Photos taken during the event may be used on ethicame's official site or social media; let us know in advance if you prefer not to be photographed.
