The China International Supply Chain Expo Concludes in Beijing
The third installment of the China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) has successfully concluded in Beijing after five engaging days. Centered around the theme "Connecting the World for a Shared Future," the expo highlighted China's ongoing commitment to expanding access and enhancing international cooperation in global supply and industrial chains.
Since its inception, the CISCE has consistently broadened its global reach and increased stakeholder participation. This year's event attracted
651 companies from China and an additional 74 nations and regions, achieving a remarkable
35% of international exhibitors—a record high for the expo. Notably,
U.S.-based companies comprised the largest contingent of international participants, marking a
15% increase compared to last year. Over
65% of the exhibitors hailed from the Fortune Global 500 list or were recognized leaders in their sectors, including tech giants like Apple, Tesla, and NVIDIA. NVIDIA's CEO,
Jensen Huang, attended for three consecutive days, labeling the Chinese supply chain as a "miracle."
The CISCE also showcased
152 new products, technologies, and services, which is a
67% increase from the prior edition. Out of these,
55 products made their debut at the CISCE Global Unveiling. During the event, exhibitors engaged with over
42,000 businesses from both upstream and downstream sectors. Preliminary data suggest that more than
6,000 agreements and collaborations were formalized throughout the expo, showcasing the transformative potential of global partnerships.
Looking ahead, the
Chinese and Foreign Exhibitors Alliance will collaborate with the
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and various industry committees to provide ongoing support for national and international companies. This initiative aims to foster an enduring model for participation centered around the CISCE programming.
Additionally, the CISCE has pioneered a model for a
"Carbon Neutral Expo," underscoring its leadership in sustainable event practices. The entire venue operated on
100% renewable electricity, resulting in a carbon dioxide emission reduction of over
1,100 tons. This initiative illustrates CISCE's commitment to being a blueprint for environmentally responsible, carbon-neutral, and plastic-free industrial meetings. Participants from both China and abroad introduced projects related to
Sustainable Lighthouse Factories, offering practical solutions propelled by CISCE to enhance sustainability within global supply chains.
Recognized as a key forum in the global supply chain landscape, the CISCE continues to attract increasing interest. On the final day of the expo,
102 companies and organizations signed agreements to participate in the next edition, reflecting a
50% year-on-year growth in physical registrations. The
CCPIT reaffirmed its commitment to providing a trustworthy, efficient, and transparent platform for global business and supply chain collaboration.
