Despite having secured flights for their journey to the championships, the Knights faced some financial roadblocks concerning essential travel expenses. Costs associated with lodging and other travel necessities presented a challenge to the team's successful participation. Numerous fundraising efforts had already brought them halfway, yet they still required the crucial $10,000 needed to cover all expenses.
