This event, titled the "Summer Enjoyment Voting Vending Machine," will be held over two days, July 4th and 5th, 2026, aiming to inspire individuals to embrace the joys of summer, even during extreme weather.
With the recent classification of days exceeding 40 degrees Celsius as "extreme heat days," Kirin understands the importance of encouraging people to enjoy summer without overexerting themselves. Their 2026 brand communication strategy centers around the idea of gently supporting the desire to have fun in the summer. The vending machine will allow visitors to cast their votes on what they look forward to most during the summer, providing each participant with a bottle of Kirin World Kitchen Salty Lychee as a reward.

How It Works
Visitors can participate by answering questions about their favorite summer activities via buttons on the vending machine. For each response, participants receive a complimentary bottle of "Kirin World Kitchen Salty Lychee," exclusively available in this uniquely designed vending machine. This initiative aims to enhance the feelings of excitement and anticipation for summer among travelers at Tokyo Station.
Additionally, participants who complete a survey or repost on the official social media accounts will get a chance to sample the new product, "Kirin World Kitchen Salty Lychee Soda," as well.
Important notes:
- - The Salty Lychee will be served chilled.
- - The distribution will end once the expected amount is reached.
- - An expected distribution includes approximately 6,000 bottles of Salty Lychee and around 300 bottles of Salty Lychee Soda.
