Jasin Glasner Appointed CFO of Arizona Electric Power Cooperative

In a significant leadership transition, Arizona Electric Power Cooperative (AEPCO) has announced the appointment of Jasin Glasner as its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective May 11, 2026. This change comes as Glasner takes over the reins from Peter Scott, who is retiring after an impressive 15-year tenure with the cooperative.

Glasner brings to the position a wealth of experience, having spent over 20 years in finance and accounting roles, many of which involved key management positions. His background includes serving as the Manager of Financial Services and, more recently, as the Financial Controller, both crucial roles that have equipped him with essential skills for his new position.

During his career, Glasner has made a name for himself by developing advanced analytical tools and enhancing financial forecasting capabilities within his previous organizations. His efforts have directly contributed to improved operational efficiencies and more effective financial management practices.

Patrick Ledger, AEPCO’s Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer, expressed confidence in Glasner’s capabilities, noting his extensive experience within the electric utility sector. Ledger praised Glasner for his leadership prowess and commitment to maintaining disciplined financial management. “Jasin's depth of experience in the electric utility sector, coupled with his demonstrated leadership and passion for process improvement, make him very well qualified to assume the role of chief financial officer,” Ledger commented, asserting his trust in Glasner’s ability to uphold AEPCO’s financial integrity and strategic objectives.

Academically, Glasner holds both a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Business Administration, both from the University of Arizona. This educational foundation underpins his expertise in financial matters and provides a solid basis for his leadership as CFO.
