BRP's Design Team Crowned Red Dot Design Team of the Year 2025

In a remarkable accolade for excellence in design, BRP Inc. has announced that its Design and Innovation team has been honored with the coveted title of Red Dot Design Team of the Year for 2025. This prestigious award, which has highlighted outstanding design since 1988, is given to teams demonstrating significant impact and innovation in their fields, alongside distinguished names like Ferrari and Apple.

Denys Lapointe, the Chief Design Officer at BRP, leads an extraordinary group of 135 multidisciplinary experts from 21 different nationalities. In his words, this recognition is a testament to their shared commitment to pushing boundaries and redefining the design landscape. Lapointe expressed immense pride in his team's ability to inspire and further their skills collectively, demonstrating a core belief that good design has the potential to transform the world.

José Boisjoli, President and CEO of BRP, also praised the team’s creativity and collaborative spirit, which continuously challenges the status quo and drives innovation. He highlighted how this recognition reflects not just their talent, but their dedication to creating products that elevate experiences for consumers.

The Red Dot designation is awarded not through applications but based on proven excellence. Professor Peter Zec, founder and CEO of Red Dot, emphasized that BRP’s user-centric design philosophy has led to exceptional, inspiring, and practical recreational vehicles over the years. Under Lapointe’s guidance, BRP has ingrained a culture of design that has positioned the company as a leader in the industry.

With 56 Red Dot awards already to its name, BRP is no stranger to accolades. The latest recognition is a well-deserved addition to their impressive collection, further highlighting the team’s consistent pursuit of innovation and high-quality design.

As part of this honor, members of BRP's design team will receive their award at the grand Red Dot Gala in Essen, Germany, on July 8, 2025. The event will also feature an exhibit showcasing BRP's innovative products and design processes at the Red Dot Design Museum until mid-August.
