Discover the Fun at the Summer SDGs Exploration Tour
Tokyo Dome Hotel, located in Bunkyo, Tokyo, is set to host an exciting event for families with elementary school children on August 21, 2025. This free event, titled "Let's Learn More Fun This Summer! Family Discovery SDGs Exploration Tour", aims to provide engaging and educational content centered around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is held as part of the hotel’s CSR initiatives, commemorating its 25th anniversary.
Event Overview
This special summer event is designed to raise awareness about environmental sustainability and promote an understanding of how children can contribute to a society that is kind to both the planet and its inhabitants. The Exploration Tour will be structured around various informative and interactive activities for both adults and kids.
Program Highlights

Opening Session
A brief introduction will outline the hotel's commitment to tackling SDGs, presented in an easy-to-understand manner for children.

SDGs Exploration Tour
Participants will embark on a fascinating exploration of key areas within the hotel linked to the SDGs. The tour includes visits to specially designed accessible rooms, insights into eco-friendly amenities, and discussions on Tokyo Dome Hotel’s food loss prevention initiatives. This interactive tour will also incorporate a stamp rally, ensuring that kids are engaged throughout the event.

SDGs Special Stage
The much-loved character, Hello Kitty, will grace the event with a special stage performance. Families will have the chance to participate in quizzes related to the 17 SDGs and capture memorable photos with Hello Kitty. Pre-reserved seating will be arranged for attendees.

Tasty Apple Pie Sampling
Participants will enjoy a delightful apple pie sampling session at the hotel's Garden Terrace lounge. This pie is produced sustainably using dough scraps from cake-making, connecting delicious treat enjoyment with food waste reduction.
5.
Farewell Presentation
Each participant will receive a small souvenir to take home, serving as a memento of the event.
“Future-Connecting” Initiatives
As part of this event, efforts will be made to recycle ordinary items that are often discarded, aiding underprivileged children across the globe and supporting environmental conservation. Attendees are encouraged (within their capacity) to bring items for collection, including:
- - Plastic bottle caps
- - Books, CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays (only those with ISBN codes)
- - Contact lens cases (with aluminum seals completely removed)
- - Natural corks

Application and Selection Process
Applications will be accepted from July 14, 2025, at 1:00 PM until July 22, 2025, at 5:00 PM, through an online lottery system. Successful applicants will be notified via email on July 30, 2025.

The event venue has convenient access to public transport, located about 2 minutes on foot from Suidobashi Station (JR Sobu Line) and 1 minute from Suidobashi Station (Toei Mita Line).
