Once a vibrant locality hosting shogunal retainers and their residences during the Edo period, Nihonbashi Hamacho has a storied past. It thrived as a fashionable district during the Taisho era and later evolved into a bustling food distribution center post-war. Nowadays, it boasts a mix of residential and professional environments, characterized by lively cultural engagements and warmth.
