Fortnite Chapter 7: Pacific Break Has Arrived
Epic Games has officially announced the launch of
Fortnite Battle Royale Chapter 7: Pacific Break as of November 30, 2023 (Japan time). Following an exhilarating finale of Chapter 6, titled
Zero Hour, which attracted an astonishing
10.5 million concurrent players and surpassed
3 million live viewers, this new chapter promises to deliver a fresh narrative set against the backdrop of the
Golden Coast.
Brand New Battle Royale Map
The new map introduces several exciting locations including
Battlewood Boulevard,
Sandy Strip,
Wonkieland, and
Classified Canyon. Players will no longer be able to use the Battle Bus to drop into the action; instead, they will have to rely on the newly introduced
Storm Surf to glide onto the island.
Exciting Gameplay Innovations
Fortnite Chapter 7 also comes with unique gameplay features:
- - Self-Rebirth Device: If players have a self-rebirth device in their inventory, they can utilize it when they are down but still have some health left, allowing them to revive themselves. Additionally, a new drivable Reboot Van has been introduced to the island.
- - Become the Boss: Defeating characters like Human Bill, Hash, or Beach Brutus allows players to claim their loot and powers, also giving them the ability to transform into the boss. While in boss mode, players will enjoy full health and shields, additional maximum health and shields, unlimited energy, and powerful abilities. However, their location will be visible to nearby enemies.
- - New Option: Simplified Building: This new option in the settings menu (Game > Building) makes learning how to build easier for players, catering to newcomers looking to enhance their skills.
Exciting New Battle Pass
The Chapter 7 Battle Pass includes notable characters such as
The Bride, a vengeance-driven figure,
Marty McFly, representing the future, along with other prominent Fortnite stars like
Miles Cross and
Cat Holloway. Additionally, it features exclusive styles for three costumes that can be unlocked by completing quests in Blitz Royale, Reload, and Battle Royale:
- - Cat Holloway
- - Carter Wu
- - Dark Voyager (Reality Altered)
