Chicago Auto Show 2025: Dates and Highlights
Mark your calendars! The
2025 Chicago Auto Show is set to take place from
February 8 to 17 at the
McCormick Place. Hosted by the Chicago Automobile Trade Association (CATA), this event promises to deliver an engaging experience showcasing the latest models and advancements in the auto industry.
What to Expect
The Chicago Auto Show is a beloved winter tradition, and according to Chairwoman
Kelly Webb Roberts, it is an event where enthusiasts can explore the most innovative technology and safety features across a wide range of vehicles. From sporty sedans to luxurious SUVs and eco-friendly electrified options, the show floor will cater to all tastes and preferences.
One of the most exciting features returning this year is the
Chicago Drives Electric initiative, which will include an indoor electric vehicle (EV) test track. This year features not one, but
two tracks, allowing attendees to get behind the wheel of the latest electric cars, providing a firsthand experience of their performance. Along with ride-alongs, there will also be an education hub dedicated to topics like home charging solutions and the overall costs of EV ownership.
Previous surveys revealed that
71% of attendees who test-drove or rode along in an EV felt their perception of owning an EV improved. Furthermore, over
53% of those who experienced an EV at the show reported being more likely to purchase one. According to General Manager
Jennifer Morand, these statistics highlight that hands-on experiences can significantly boost consumer confidence in EV ownership.
Special Themed Days and Events
