Afternoon Tea Celebrates Tea Day with TEA FES 2025
Afternoon Tea, a prominent brand known for its exquisite tea offerings, is set to host the much-anticipated TEA FES 2025 event, commencing on November 1 and running through November 12. This initiative is in celebration of Tea Day, a time dedicated to appreciating the diverse and rich world of tea.
Founded in 1981, Afternoon Tea excels in curating teas sourced from various global plantations, ensuring a delightful experience through their straight teas and beautifully crafted blends that combine fruits, herbs, and spices. One of their most iconic products, the Assam-based chai, has garnered a loyal following, cherished for its rich, sweet flavor.
New Dessert Chai Creations
This autumn, TEA FES 2025 will introduce three new delightful dessert chai varieties, each designed to celebrate the flavors of the season.
1.
Apple Crumble Chai - Priced at 1,100 yen (tax included), this chai features a rich base complemented by cinnamon-tinged apple filling, homemade tea crumble, and a dollop of whipped cream, evoking classic British homemade desserts.
2.
Roasted Sweet Potato Maple Chai - Another treat at the same price point, this chai blends a comforting roasted sweet potato puree with maple jelly, creating a delightful dessert chai experience sweetened with gentle notes.
3.
Chestnut Cream Chai - This creamy chai, priced at 1,100 yen, combines sweet chestnut puree to deliver a luscious and rich flavor, topped with a special chestnut whipped cream offering a dessert-like taste.
These new chai flavors exemplify Afternoon Tea's commitment to creativity and innovation in their tea offerings, aiming to engage customers and expand the appeal of chai.
Supporting Education through Tea
Aligned with its motto, "A Peaceful Day with Tea," Afternoon Tea is also launching a donation initiative as part of TEA FES 2025. For every limited-edition chai ordered, 20 yen will be donated to ESA Asia, a non-profit organization that supports educational initiatives in India and Bangladesh. This endeavor aims to provide resources and support for children attending St. Mary’s School in Darjeeling, ensuring they receive quality education. Since its inception in 2017, TEA FES has been a platform not only to celebrate the love of tea but also to support community upliftment through charitable contributions.
Exclusive Tea Products
In conjunction with TEA FES 2025, Afternoon Tea will also feature exclusive items, such as
Tea for Peace BOX for 5,000 yen. This beautifully designed box, illustrated by artist Mimi Kim, includes seven recommended teas and two limited-edition teas, along with five tea tickets for future use at any Afternoon Tea venue.
