Earth Day Tokyo 2026: Join the Movement for A Greener Future!

Earth Day Tokyo 2026: Call for Participation

The countdown is on for Earth Day Tokyo 2026, which will take place on April 18 and 19 at Yoyogi Park! With the application deadline set for December 22, this is an exciting opportunity for individuals, organizations, and businesses to come together for a remarkable cause.

Earth Day Tokyo has been celebrating the theme of “Action for the Earth” for over 20 years, uniting diverse citizens and groups to enhance awareness about environmental issues. In 2025, the festival attracted around 80,000 attendees over two days, showcasing more than 200 exhibitors and providing a unique platform for education and cultural exchange.

A New Vision for 2026

For the upcoming event, the theme is “Spring Earth Cultural Festival,” emphasizing the importance of collective action for future sustainability. The aim is to create an inclusive festival where everyone, from families and non-profits to schools and students, can contribute their own actions geared towards preserving the environment.

In 2026, Earth Day Tokyo is dedicated to creating a space where attendees, exhibitors, and local communities can collaborate and inspire new actions. This year’s event will focus not only on offering workshops for all age groups, cultural and musical integration, energy self-sufficiency initiatives, and waste reduction efforts, but also on fostering a cycle of “connections that lead to actions.”

Join Us as an Exhibitor!

We are currently inviting organizations, businesses, and individuals to participate as exhibitors at Earth Day Tokyo 2026. Whether you are a non-profit organization, a shop, or an individual passionate about the earth's future, we want you!

With over 200 opportunities available for exhibiting through pavilions, workshops, markets, and experiential booths, this is a unique chance to connect with like-minded individuals and make a significant impact.

The festival will happen at Yoyogi Park’s event square and keyaki promenades, expecting a turnout similar to 2025’s successful appearance, during which about 80,000 people participated.

Educational Programs and Collaboration

In 2026, we plan to implement new educational and recruitment programs designed to connect environmentally-conscious youth with businesses. This will provide a unique opportunity to engage with young leaders who are passionate about making a difference.

Organizations both with and without legal status, such as NGOs or community groups, can apply to join. However, it is important to note that food vendors must possess the necessary qualifications to participate in this year’s event.

The Value of Participation

Past exhibitors have highlighted several benefits of joining Earth Day Tokyo:
  • - Direct Interaction: Connect with attendees who are eager to take action.
  • - Meaningful Discussions: Share your organization’s mission and have deep conversations that can inspire change.
  • - Increased Collaboration: Expand your network by interacting with diverse sectors including students and non-profits.
  • - Family-Focused Environment: Reach new audiences through family participation.
  • - Impactful Promotion: Utilize the event as a real-world example of corporate social responsibility (CSR) and sustainability.

Earth Day Tokyo serves as a co-creative space where meaningful ideas and initiatives can flourish. In 2026, we’re thrilled to continue welcoming diverse exhibitors, ensuring that everyone has a voice in shaping the future.

Don't Miss the Deadline!

The deadline for applications is just around the corner, on December 22! There is still time for both new and established organizations to join this movement. Remember, Earth Day is not just an event created by someone else; every individual has the opportunity to be a ‘creator’ at this cultural festival.

Our mission remains clear: to foster a culture of action for the earth and create spaces for collaboration among diverse participants. Your involvement may inspire attendees to take new steps in their own efforts towards sustainability.
