AWE2025: Showcasing Cutting-Edge AI-Driven Smart Living Solutions in Shanghai

AWE2025: A Platform for Innovative AI-Driven Living Solutions

The Appliance & Electronics World Expo 2025 (AWE2025) is set to be a groundbreaking event in Shanghai from March 20 to 23, 2025. This expo will gather over 1,000 leading brands in home appliances and consumer electronics from around the globe, showcasing the latest innovations in AI-driven smart living solutions under the theme "AI for All."

Major international players such as Bosch, Siemens, Panasonic, Samsung, and LG will showcase their cutting-edge products, alongside prominent Chinese manufacturers like Haier, Hisense, and TCL. The event expects more than 100 product launches, promising to display the latest advancements in technology and products that enhance everyday life through smart integration.

With the integration of smart ecosystems, household appliances are evolving to connect various aspects of life, including health, energy management, and mobility. AWE2025 will demonstrate this comprehensive smart living ecosystem, promoting a deeper collaboration within the industry. Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of electric vehicle brand BYD for the first time, which will feature a dedicated area for electric cars, offering a glimpse of future solutions that blend smart homes with electric mobility.

Visitors will encounter popular electric vehicle models from brands like NIO, Li Auto, and XPeng in an engaging mobile home exhibition space. Scenarios showcasing products in camping, audio-visual entertainment, and office setups will illustrate how these technologies can weave seamlessly into daily life.

Additionally, AWE2025 will highlight robotics companies, including Unitree, which will present their quadruped robot designed for consumer use, among several others participating in the "36Kr Future + Robotics" section.

The event will also host the AWE Shopping Festival, organized by the China Household Electrical Appliances Association (CHEAA) in collaboration with major platforms like JD.com and Tmall, enabling attendees to test and purchase new products with government-subsidized discounts.

To strengthen connections with global players, AWE has invited industry chambers from Europe and the US, alongside cross-border trading platforms, to encourage trade interactions among international and domestic vendors. Traders and manufacturers from countries such as Japan, Vietnam, and Thailand are expected to explore business opportunities and potential collaborations during key summits like the China-ASEAN Home Appliance and Consumer Electronics Industry Top Channels Summit.

Furthermore, the event will host the International Roundtable of Household Appliance Manufacturer Associations (IRHMA2025), with leading executives from multinational corporations expected to attend, solidifying AWE's role as a premier global platform for homes and electronics.

In 2024, AWE saw a 36% increase in international visitors from 79 countries, continuing a three-year growth trend, and organizers anticipate even greater international participation in 2025. Amidst the rising global significance of AWE, the event will feature two important summits and additional parallel events, driven by political support and AI-enhanced innovation.

As AWE cases the path toward new horizons and deeper industry insights, it will facilitate enhanced interactive experiences for both businesses and consumers, ushering in a new era of intelligent living.
