Milliken & Company Unveils Next-Generation Innovations at Interpack 2026
Milliken & Company is set to make waves at Interpack 2026, scheduled from May 7 to 13 in Düsseldorf, showcasing its latest innovations designed to enhance the performance of polymers in everyday applications. From ultra-clear packaging solutions to lighter and more recyclable structures, Milliken’s advancements aim to provide processors and brand owners with improved efficiency, design flexibility, and material performance on a large scale.
During the event, Milliken experts will participate in Spotlight Forum sessions on May 11 and 12, presenting real-world examples of how the company has successfully assisted brands in developing advanced packaging solutions. As Wim Van De Velde, Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Milliken’s Plastics Additives Division, articulates, "The future of packaging will depend on the seamless integration of materials and processes. At Interpack, we will introduce technologies that help our customers enhance their performance while enabling lighter and more recyclable packaging designs."

It offers ultra-clear transparency with reduced additive load, enhancing additive compatibility and leading to less downtime, waste, and quicker changeovers for resin producers and processors.
- - LeneX™ UGN-52: Milliken’s latest barrier enhancement technology improves the performance of HDPE and LLDPE films, containers, and pharmaceutical bottles. These solutions enable downgrading to reduce material consumption and part weight while improving the barrier characteristics of polyethylene (PE), allowing designers to manufacture more products from less material, thus enhancing recyclability.
- - Hyperform® HPN®: Milliken’s nucleating agents revolutionize PP performance by providing clearer aesthetics and faster cycle times. They enhance optical clarity, reduce haze, and ensure isotropic shrinkage, making them perfect for injection molding and thin-walled applications, compatible with homopolymer, impact copolymer, and block copolymer PP.
- - ClearShield™: This UV absorber technology for PET packaging applications protects packaged products from harmful ultraviolet light exposure while maintaining a crystal-clear appearance.
