The China International Furniture Fair (CIFF) in Guangzhou, renowned as one of the largest furniture exhibitions globally, has successfully concluded its 57th edition on March 31, 2026. This year, the theme focused on the concept of "CONNECT•CREATE," symbolizing the fair's commitment to fostering international connections and creativity within the furniture manufacturing industry.

Over the course of eight days, CIFF Guangzhou 2026 set a record with more than 5,100 exhibitors showcasing their latest innovations. Impressively, 93.8% of these companies selected this platform to unveil new products to a global audience. The event attracted 353,106 professional visitors hailing from 185 countries and regions, with international attendance reaching an all-time high of 64,291, marking a 13.2% increase compared to the previous record in 2025.

Throughout the exhibition, a variety of events took place, including 111 concurrent events that highlighted the latest trends and developments in furniture design and manufacturing. Notably, the fair featured the release of nine major reports on industry trends, establishing CIFF as a leading authority and thought leader in the sector.

To cater to buyers unable to attend in person—especially from the Middle East—the exhibition introduced an innovative remote matching service. This service blended live on-site tours with real-time online interaction, leading to 162 targeted matching sessions that ensured a seamless international supply chain flow.

CIFF 2026 showcased a comprehensive range of exhibitions covering the entire value chain of the furniture industry, segmented into three main categories:

1. Home Furniture Exhibition (March 18-21): This exhibition focused on the transition from design concepts to commercialization, emphasizing the global exchange of ideas and supporting the entry of international brands into the Chinese market while aiding Chinese brands in expanding abroad. The event spanned 430,000 square meters and featured thematic displays that showcased contemporary housing aesthetics. It also highlighted emerging trends, such as designs accommodating pets and inclusivity for all ages.

2. Office and Commercial Space Exhibition (March 28-31): Centered around sustainability, this section presented a vision for future workplace ecosystems incorporating office environments and public commercial spaces. Attendees discovered eco-friendly design principles, materials, and lifecycle considerations, emphasizing carbon-reduction innovations from design to usage. Smart technologies played a pivotal role, integrating intelligent products with design strategies and service systems to create connected solutions across workplace operations, driving inclusive and sustainable growth.

3. CIFM and Interzum Guangzhou Exhibitions: Jointly held, these exhibitions connected global innovation with industrial chains, showcasing transformative manufacturing solutions. The machinery section focused on smart production, integrating woodworking and upholstery equipment with Industry 4.0 standards for scalable manufacturing upgrades. The materials space presented advancements in color, material, and finish (CMF) alongside functional and sustainable solutions, further enhancing home layouts and space optimization.
