DJI Agriculture's Drone Technology Revolutionizes Farming with Major Environmental Impact

DJI Agriculture's Major Environmental Achievements with Drones

DJI Agriculture, the leading provider of innovative drone technology for agriculture, has made headlines with the release of its latest report during the AgriShow in Brazil. The fifth annual "Agricultural Drone Industry Insight Report (2025/2026)" revealed some staggering figures that highlight the profound impact of agricultural drones on our planet.

Since the inception of its drone technology for farming, DJI has developed a substantial presence in over 100 countries and regions, with more than 600,000 drones currently operational. This massive adoption has led to impressive environmental benefits; the use of these drones has reduced global CO₂ emissions by 51 million tons and saved approximately 410 million tons of water. To put this into perspective, this amount of water could meet the annual drinking water needs of about 740 million people. The reduction in carbon emissions equates to the carbon absorption of about 240 million trees.

The Rise of Agricultural Drones

The report emphasizes the journey of agricultural drones from a novel technology to becoming indispensable tools for farmers worldwide. Yuan Zhang, Head of Global Sales at DJI Agriculture, remarked, **“Agricultural drones are no longer a novelty; they have become crucial agricultural tools around the globe.
