New Horizons for Ikkakuya and Abura Soba
The beloved Japanese restaurants Ikkakuya and Abura Soba are set to undergo a remarkable transformation this coming July. Starting from July 1, 2026, a total of
19 stores will relaunch as hybrid establishments that merge the best of both worlds. This expansion reflects the popularity of their unique offerings and is expected to enhance dining experiences across various neighborhoods.
Celebration of Renewal
As part of the grand reopening, each store will offer a special promotion where customers can enjoy a bowl of Abura Soba (available in Regular, Large, and Extra Large) for just
682 yen (tax included 750 yen) on selected opening days. This limited-time offer invites both loyal fans and newcomers to relish the flavorful dishes at a great value.
Store Locations and Opening Dates
The plan is to strategically place new and renovated locations in bustling areas, including:
- - Kokubunji: July 1, 2026
- - Harajuku: July 4, 2026
- - Nishi-Kasai: July 6, 2026
- - Additional openings will follow closely in places like Akihabara, Ueno, and several others through July 14, 2026.
Central to this initiative is ease of access for office workers and residents alike, offering a quick and satisfying meal during lunch breaks, after work, and late-night cravings.
Signature Dishes to Indulge In
Abura Soba
A highlight of the offering is the signature dish,
Abura Soba, known for its

Pricing: Starting at
810 yen (tax included

Korean Seaweed Onsen Tamago Abura Soba
One of the new topping options is the
Korean seaweed with onsen tamago, which elegantly balances sweetness, saltiness, and creaminess for an irresistible combination.
Pricing: Starting at
919 yen (tax included
1,010 yen).
Exciting New Toppings and Seasonings
The diversity doesn't stop there; to further personalize the Abura Soba experience, a range of toppings and seasonings will be introduced with the renovation:
