With this new service, Co-op Kinki can now provide delivery directly to the entrance of each apartment unit, thus eliminating the previous challenges faced by cooperative members residing in auto-lock buildings. The residents often encountered issues when deliveries were attempted during their absence, resulting in failed deliveries and the need for redelivery trips.
In response to these challenges, Co-op Kinki has taken the initiative to enhance the delivery experience, ensuring that members can efficiently receive their purchases without the hassle of missed deliveries. The Smart Delivery Solution

This technology digitizes the access controls for shared entrances of auto-lock apartments. Authorized delivery personnel can unlock the building's main entrance, granting them access to specified delivery locations as pre-designated by the residents.
All unlocking activities are meticulously recorded, providing an added layer of security and peace of mind for residents, who can track delivery history. The implementation of this service is designed to incur no additional costs for property management companies, owners, or management associations, making it an appealing option for a broad range of stakeholders.
As of August 2025, this service will have been rolled out to over 16,000 locations nationwide, revolutionizing the way deliveries are conducted in secured residential environments.
