Exciting News for Cycle Enthusiasts: Cycle 66 Rescheduled for 2025!
The Cycle 66 Board of Directors has made an important announcement regarding its annual cycling event. Traditionally held on the first Sunday in November, the 5th annual Cycle 66 will now be happening on
July 27, 2025. This change comes after the unfortunate cancellation of the ride slated for November 2, 2024, due to adverse weather conditions.
Mike Osburn, the founder of Cycle 66, expressed his excitement about this adjustment: "We're thrilled to move the event to the heart of the cycling season for 2025 and beyond. More importantly, we’re glad our riders and sponsors don't have to wait an entire year for their 'redemption ride.' Our goal is to create a world-class cycling event, and this shift to July aligns perfectly with that vision."
Celebrating the Historic Route 66
Route 66 isn't just any road; it's an iconic highway revered across the globe. It attracts millions of visitors annually and provides crucial economic support for local communities. Established in 2020, Cycle 66 was crafted to honor this legendary highway while offering cyclists a unique and immersive experience on the Mother Road. The event has garnered extensive backing from local and state officials, leading to its successful launch.
