NEXT60 Joint Declaration Ceremony: A Celebration of 60 Years

On July 5, 2024, the iconic Fuji-Q Highland will host the second ceremony marking the NEXT60 Joint Declaration, commemorating the 60th anniversaries of three beloved Japanese attractions: Yomiuri Land, Fuji-Q Highland, and Spa Resort Hawaiians. This event promises to be a blend of celebration and entertainment, showcasing the unique characters from each facility and a captivating performance by the Hula Girls from Spa Resort Hawaiians.

An Event to Remember

The ceremony is scheduled to kick off at 11:00 AM at the Fuji-Q Highland Central Park. Attendees can expect an exciting joint declaration, featuring original characters from all three facilities. The participating characters include Yomiuri Land’s Good & Lucky, Fuji-Q Highland’s Zekkyou Sentai Highlander, and Spa Resort Hawaiians’ Hula Girls and CoCo Nee-san.

In addition to the main declaration, a special uniform exchange will take place to symbolize the collaboration between the attractions. The ceremony is set against the scenic backdrop of Mount Fuji, adding an extra layer of excitement to the day's festivities.

Special Performances and Surprises

After the declaration, the excitement will continue with a special show featuring the original characters and the Hula Girls, taking place at 11:10 AM and again at 2:00 PM. Attendees will have the chance to witness this one-of-a-kind performance that showcases the charm of each location.

As an added bonus, after the first show, the winners of the NEXT60 Joint Declaration 2025 social media campaign will be announced. Following this, media will have the opportunity for a photo session and interviews with characters.

Limited Edition Tickets and Stickers

To celebrate the joint declaration, a limited-edition common ticket for Yomiuri Land, Fuji-Q Highland, and Spa Resort Hawaiians will be available for purchase on the official Fuji-Q Highland EC site. These tickets will allow one entry to each facility and are priced at a special rate of 6,000 yen (approximately $55), with a restricted sale of 30 pairs (60 tickets total). The ticket sales will open on July 5, 2024, and close on July 11, 2024, with a lottery system in place should demand exceed supply.

Additionally, the first 2,000 attendees at each facility on July 5 will receive a commemorative sticker as a memento of this monumental celebration.

A Shared Vision for the Future

The NEXT60 Joint Declaration represents more than just a celebration; it’s a commitment among the three attractions to collaborate for the future of the leisure industry in Japan. Together, they aim to create synergy beyond traditional boundaries, enriching visitor experiences and ensuring that enjoyment and excitement remain at the forefront. Each park embraces the philosophy of enhancing lives through leisure, having already brought joy and inspiration to over 200 million guests combined.

Yomiuri Land pledges to put play in the center, Fuji-Q Highland stands as ONLY1FUJI-Q, and Spa Resort Hawaiians promotes itself as Japan's most exciting paradise. This collaboration marks the beginning of even greater innovations and offerings that guests can expect in the coming years.
