Revitalized Summit Store and Colmopia in Shiinamachi Open Now with Exciting New Features

Summit Store and Colmopia Reopen with Fresh Offerings

After serving the community since 1967, the Summit Store Shiinamachi and the Colmopia Shiinamachi have undergone significant renovations and celebrated their grand reopening on May 10, 2025. This revitalization focuses on improving the shopping experience for customers with new departments and expanded offerings.

New Features and Layout Changes

First Floor Highlights:

On the first floor, customers will find the relocated deli section, which has moved from the basement to enhance accessibility. A notable addition is the in-store bakery, "Dan Brown," where fresh breads, wood-fired pizzas, sandwiches, and fruit tarts are crafted daily. The deli provides a diverse range of options, including bento boxes, sushi, grilled fish, and a variety of hot and cold dishes, making it a quick stop for lunch or snacks.

In this area, shoppers can also find snacks, beverages, and alcoholic drinks, creating a convenient one-stop shopping experience.

Basement Level Enhancements:

Descending to the basement, customers will discover a vibrant fresh produce section, now featuring a "Fresh Salad & Cut Fruits" corner, showcasing salads made from the freshest ingredients and juicy fruits available for immediate consumption. The seafood section has introduced the "Fish Kitchen" where high-quality fish can be purchased and prepared to order, along with an expanded selection of meats in the butcher section.

Additionally, new freezer cases have been added, increasing the variety of frozen food items available. The basement also houses the essential grocery and daily supply items, alongside a tasting corner called "Please Try" to sample recommended products.

Second Floor Improvements:

The second floor has transformed into a brighter shopping area for clothing and household goods at Colmopia. This now includes a wider selection of ladies', men's, and children's apparel, while home goods have also expanded their offerings, particularly household items. A new self-checkout system has been introduced to streamline the payment process, improving convenience for shoppers.
