Tokyo's Shine: The Unique Education Fair for International Schools from Thailand

The Tokyo Education Fair: A Gateway for Parents and Students

On March 7, 2026, the Tokyo Shinagawa Vision Center will host a unique education fair organized by SGB International Co., Ltd., led by Chiaki Takekawa. This event will see the participation of nine renowned international schools from Thailand and one international school from Vietnam, aiming to guide Japanese families interested in overseas education.

Thailand has increasingly become a preferred destination for expatriates from Japan due to its favorable living conditions and educational opportunities. Many families are considering educational options in Thailand, yet the information available about international schools is often limited and fragmented. This has made the process of selecting the right school a daunting task for parents.

The theme of the fair, “Delivering Diverse Educational Options in Thailand and Southeast Asia Accurately and Directly,” addresses the needs of families planning to move to Thailand, those considering maternal-child study abroad, and students exploring boarding schools and summer programs. This fair provides a much-needed platform for parents to gather trustworthy information directly, minimizing uncertainties surrounding school choices.

Why Attend the Fair?

The event will feature opportunities for attendees to converse directly with school representatives. Participants will be able to obtain reliable insights about the educational philosophies, school cultures, learning environments, admission requirements, English proficiency benchmarks, and summer school programs that are not easily acquired through websites or brochures.

Additionally, staff members with firsthand experiences of living and raising children in Bangkok will be on-site to provide guidance on daily life, parenting, and schooling in Thailand, including post-return educational pathways in Japan.

SGB International Co., Ltd. aims to connect families interested in overseas education with school representatives through this fair, fostering the development of a new community dedicated to education.
