From June 26 to June 30, the United Breast Cancer Foundation (UBCF) organized a remarkable Mattress & Pink Bag Event at Governor's Square Mall in Tallahassee, Florida. This event marked a significant milestone for UBCF, as it was the first time the Mattress & Pink Bag Program was offered in a multi-day format. Over this five-day period, more than 130 breast cancer patients and survivors received essential resources valued at over $1.45 million, including therapeutic mattresses, clothing, personal care items, household necessities, and children’s products.

The event not only attracted attendees from across Florida but also from neighboring states such as Ohio, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Maine, demonstrating its wide-reaching impact. The community came together, and the air was filled with gratitude, support, and genuine emotional connections. Participants expressed their appreciation through heartfelt messages, emphasizing how the event changed their lives for the better.

One attendee, Alisa, shared her thankfulness with UBCF, stating, "Receiving these gifts made me feel seen, supported, and genuinely cared for."
