COhatch Approaches Grand Opening of Hamilton Bank Hall and Eyrie Lounge in Downtown Revitalization

COhatch, a progressive social entrepreneurship organization, is in the final stages of revitalizing downtown Hamilton, Ohio, with the exciting upcoming launch of two innovative venues—the Hamilton Bank Hall and Eyrie Cocktail Lounge. The comprehensive redevelopment, which began in late 2023, has transformed a historic three-story bank building, originally known as the Second National Bank, into a vibrant hub for community and business interaction.

The Hamilton Bank Hall, set to open its doors in mid-February, promises to be a versatile venue that caters to both social and business events. With a total capacity of 160 guests, this space is designed to host everything from charity galas to intimate weddings. Located right across from the iconic Alexander Hamilton statue in the town square, the Hall can be configured in various layouts to suit event needs, making it an attractive option for locals and regional visitors alike.

Adjacent to the Bank Hall, the Eyrie Cocktail Lounge will offer a sophisticated yet relaxed environment where patrons can enjoy expertly crafted cocktails and a curated selection of upscale small plates. The Eyrie is set to enhance the evening social scene with operating hours from 5 PM to 11 PM on weekdays, noon to midnight on Saturdays, and 10 AM to 8 PM on Sundays. While it aims to create a community hub for casual dining and socializing, the Eyrie can also serve as a supportive venue for larger events alongside the Bank Hall.

CEO and co-founder of COhatch, Matt Davis, emphasizes the organization’s commitment to community enrichment. "Our mission at COhatch is not just to restore buildings but to foster economic growth and inspire local entrepreneurs and small business owners to thrive," Davis stated. This latest project represents COhatch's 37th building transformation, reinforcing their dedication to revitalizing urban spaces and supporting community development initiatives through programs that effectively blend work, social impact, and wellbeing.

Particularly noteworthy is the dedication of Tyler McCleary, awarded Hamilton's 'Citizen of the Year' by the Greater Hamilton Chamber of Commerce, who will oversee local operations for COhatch. He aims to leverage his position to further community-oriented initiatives and programs, connecting the existing charitable activities with the facilities offered by COhatch.

In anticipation of its grand opening, COhatch is currently welcoming applications for Founding Coworking and Private Office Members. These members will enjoy exclusive benefits, including early access to the facilities and a comprehensive suite of professional amenities designed to enrich their work-life balance. Not only do they gain entry into the vibrant COhatch community of over 10,000 members, but they will also have priority access to Eyrie events, including bartending classes and special reservation options.

To further its mission of giving back, COhatch implements the GIVE Scholarship program, providing annual scholarships to local 501c3 organizations aligned with their philanthropic endeavors. Nonprofits can apply to become GIVE scholars to benefit from community memberships and access COhatch's meeting spaces. Additionally, the BOOST Scholarships aim to highlight and support local startups, especially those led by minorities and women, by offering valuable resources and free coworking access.

With its extensive portfolio, COhatch now operates 39 locations across seven states, representing a unique collection of renovated historic buildings. These spaces are designed not only for work but also for recreation, featuring amenities such as gaming areas and flexible indoor and outdoor options in walkable neighborhoods.

As anticipation builds for the opening of Hamilton Bank Hall and Eyrie Cocktail Lounge, community members and potential patrons are encouraged to reach out for reservations and event bookings, marking a new chapter in Hamilton's vibrant downtown scene. More details regarding memberships and reservations can be found on COhatch’s official website and dedicated pages for each venue.
