Experience the Magic of Petit-Casta at Kitasenju Marui!
This December, Kitasenju Marui will be graced by the arrival of a delightful pop-up shop dedicated to
Petit-Casta, a brand that has its roots in the vibrant district of Ginza. Celebrated for its French-inspired finger sweets, Petit-Casta is a must-try during the
Christmas Fair from
December 17 to 25.
What is Petit-Casta?
Petit-Casta specializes in crafting adorable finger sweets that merge French culinary artistry with Japanese sensibilities. Since its inception, the brand has prioritized high-quality ingredients, creating each sweet treat without adding water. Instead, they focus on blending a selected range of components, including diverse creams and fillings, meticulously enveloped in a baked dough on a hot plate. Customers can indulge in eight mouth-watering flavors:
Plain, Custard, Chocolate, Caramel Flakes, Strawberry Milk, Red Bean, Apple Earl Grey, and
Cranberry.
The journey of Petit-Casta began in
2002 when they were the pioneers in introducing mini taiyaki to Japan. The flagship store opened in
Ginza in
June 2020, situated amidst historic publishers, the Kabukiza Theatre, and renowned Italian restaurants. Remarkably, about 80% of the year, Petit-Casta travels across Japan with pop-up stores, bringing the essence of their delicious sweet creations to local communities. With a warm aroma that fills the air, they aim to deliver a delightful bite of happiness to everyone, celebrating
24 years of baking exceptional sweets this year.
