XCMG Crane Launches Innovative Models at Bauma 2025, Emphasizing Sustainability and European Market Commitment
XCMG Crane's Impact at Bauma 2025
XCMG Crane has made a remarkable impact at the Bauma 2025, the premier construction machinery trade fair globally. This year, the company unveiled six advanced crane models specifically designed to meet the demands of the European market. With a strong emphasis on sustainability and intelligent design, XCMG is positioning itself as a trusted partner in driving Europe’s green transformation and urban renewal initiatives.
The featured models include groundbreaking innovations, particularly the XCA60_EV, which is recognized as the world’s first hybrid all-terrain crane. This model boasts a self-developed oil-electric hybrid system that reduces carbon emissions by 40%. It is equipped with a 400V plug-in system for emissions-free lifting, combining a powerful 170 kW electric motor with a dual-engine transport system (totaling 400 kW) for optimal fuel efficiency.
In addition to the hybrid crane, XCMG showcased the compact and intelligent cranes built on its G2 technology platform, which are ideal for congested urban environments. Among them, the XCA80G7-1E features a compact design with a 60-meter boom and double hook coordination, perfectly suited for city projects. Meanwhile, the XCA250G7-1E comes with remote control capabilities, allowing single-operator efficiency along with innovative telescoping systems for tight construction sites.
The European Customized Rough-Terrain Cranes, like the XCR50_E, meet EU transport standards due to their ultra-narrow 2.5-meter width, while the XCR70_E and XCR90_E have proven their robust performance in gas power plant projects in Turkey. These models come equipped with eco-friendly hydraulic systems and fuel-saving torque converters.
Yang Dongsheng, the Chairman of XCMG Machinery, reaffirmed the company's strategy, stating, "In Europe, For Europe." He emphasized XCMG’s commitment to playing a key role in shaping sustainable and intelligent infrastructure in Europe. This strategy has already begun to pay dividends at Bauma 2025, as the company secured significant orders from German, French, and Dutch clients for its hybrid and compact models. These orders underscore Europe’s support for XCMG’s tailored solutions and roadmap for a greener transition.
A representative from a Dutch lifting and transport company praised XCMG cranes at Bauma 2025, highlighting the human-centric technology of the G2 series. They noted, "The panoramic windshield and the recessed control console significantly enhance operational visibility by over 40%." This client also noted that XCMG’s products demonstrate world-class manufacturing capabilities, with meticulous attention to details such as hydraulic piping arrangements, centralized lubrication systems, and precise component tolerances.
"From operational ergonomics to equipment reliability, XCMG cranes have convinced our technical team with their exceptional performance. They will be our preferred brand for future acquisitions," stated the team, reinforcing XCMG's reputation in the industry.
With this impressive showcase and strategic focus, XCMG Crane not only highlights its commitment to innovation but also solidifies its role as a leader in the construction machinery sector in Europe, meeting the region's evolving demands while championing eco-friendly practices.
