Presenter Profile: Tomoko Izumiyama

Company: Relocation Club
Position: Unit Manager, Content Planning Unit
Expertise: Planning and developing services and content for employee benefits and CRM members

Izumiyama began her career in the confectionery manufacturing and sales industry before joining Relocation Club in 2008. She has worked across various genres including wedding and funeral services, automotive, beauty, shopping, and sports clubs. Currently, she oversees the planning of contents that support the balance of childcare and caregiving, as well as gourmet content and the senior-oriented service "From Na Club."

Through her experience, Izumiyama understands that while the term 'senior' encompasses a wide age range, the needs of those aged 60 differ significantly from those of individuals in their 90s. Drawing from observations of her personal connections, she realized that a one-size-fits-all approach does not work.

The "From Na Club" is designed to provide customized employee benefit packages for seniors who wish to enjoy travel and leisure after retirement. However, one of her initial challenges was identifying the optimal content that caters to such a diverse audience.

As she continues her efforts to refine service offerings, her goal is to evolve into a more impactful and valuable service by exploring what this 'enrichment' means post-retirement and what kind of offerings will bring the most benefit. Her commitment to promoting the notion of a 'healthy and safe fulfilling life' reflects her belief in contributing to solutions for Japan's aging society.

Izumiyama views 'co-creation' as a vital strategy in addressing complex social issues. During the study session, she hopes to engage in discussions with participants to collaboratively address Japan's challenges by leveraging each other's insights and values.
