BitMine Immersion Reports $10.8 Billion Cryptocurrency and Cash Holdings

On September 15, 2025, BitMine Immersion Technologies (BMNR) announced that its total holdings of cryptocurrencies and cash amount to an impressive $10.8 billion. These holdings showcase the company's strategy of accumulating cryptocurrencies with a particular focus on Ethereum (ETH).

As of September 14, 2025, BitMine's cryptocurrency assets include a staggering 2.151 million ETH, valued at approximately $4,632 per ETH. In addition, the company holds 192 Bitcoin (BTC) and a stake worth $214 million in Eightco (NASDAQ-ORBS), alongside $569 million in cash that is free from liabilities. This puts BitMine in the enviable position of having the largest treasury of ETH and the second-largest overall treasury globally, trailing only Strategy Inc. (MSTR) which holds 638,460 BTC valued at a massive $74 billion.

Thomas “Tom” Lee from Fundstrat, who is also the president of BitMine, emphasized, “BitMine now has nearly $11 billion in total cryptocurrency holdings, exceeding the milestone of 2 million ETH. The shift from Wall Street to blockchain and the emergence of a tokenized economy propelled by AI is sparking a supercycle for Ethereum.”

The company's robust backing by prominent institutional investors, including Cathie Wood of ARK Invest, MOZAYYX, Founders Fund, Bill Miller III, Pantera Capital, Kraken, DCG, Galaxy Digital, and Tom Lee himself, underlines their ambitious goal to secure 5% of all ETH.

BitMine has emerged as one of the most actively traded stocks in the United States, boasting an average trading volume of $2 billion per day over the past five days. These statistics place BitMine 28th among all stocks listed in the country, just behind Eli Lilly and ahead of Arista Networks out of 5,704 listed stocks, according to Fundstrat data.

The company is headquartered in strategic locations known for low-cost energy, including Trinidad, Pecos, Texas, and Silverton, Texas. BitMine’s business model incorporates Bitcoin and Ethereum mining, synthetic Bitcoin mining through staking, and financial product offerings related to hashrate. It also provides consulting services for companies seeking to generate income or advice related to Bitcoin investment.

In a corporate presentation recently published by BitMine, they detailed this growth strategy, emphasizing the potential of Ethereum in the future financial landscape. Lee further stressed the transformative potential of Ethereum as a major macroeconomic opportunity in the coming decade to 15 years, likewise noting that the advancements in blockchain will lead to a significant reshaping of the current financial system.

In conclusion, as BitMine positions itself as a leader in the cryptocurrency investment space with substantial ETH and Bitcoin holdings, the company's strategies are poised to capitalize on the shifting financial paradigms that are increasingly leaning towards decentralized finance and blockchain technology.
