The Oddities and Curiosities Expo is renowned for bringing together an eclectic mix of vendors and artists that showcase the weird and wonderful aspects of life. From taxidermy and preserved animal specimens to dark art and Halloween-inspired pieces, the expo is a treasure trove for collectors and curiosities enthusiasts. Attendees can look forward to browsing through a wide array of rare and odd items, each with a story to tell.
In addition to shopping, visitors can enjoy a wealth of immersive experiences. Expect photo opportunities, tarot readings, sideshow performances, and other attractions designed to keep you entertained throughout the day. The expo embodies a community-centric spirit where small businesses and artists can flourish, and attendees can revel in the bizarre alongside like-minded individuals.
A Community Built on the Unusual
Founded by the creative duo Michelle and Tony Cozzaglio, the Oddities and Curiosities Expo began in Oklahoma and has grown into a national phenomenon. "We created this expo to give odd small businesses and artists a space where they can thrive," says Michelle. Their mission is to foster a community that embraces individuality and creativity, inviting people to celebrate their quirks and interests.
With events planned across 40 cities in the United States and Canada in 2025, it’s evident that the demand for such unique gatherings is on the rise. The success of the expo can largely be attributed to its focus on curating a remarkable lineup of exhibitors and continually adapting to meet attendee desires. Michelle adds, "We’re always looking to evolve and enhance the experience, both for our exhibitors and our guests."
Learn Something New
Alongside the main expo activities, participants can also sign up for special classes. For those intrigued by taxidermy, there's a chance to join a day-long class and learn how to create your own full-sized taxidermy mount. Alternatively, beginner entomology classes focused on insect pinning will also be available, featuring sustainable sourcing practices to ensure ethical education.
