Haitian's New Production Facility in Ruma, Serbia
Haitian International Holdings has recently celebrated the soft opening of its new production facility located in Ruma, Serbia. This facility represents a pivotal part of Haitian's overarching strategy to bolster its operations across Europe, specifically in the local manufacturing and supply of injection molding machinery.
During an internal Open House event, employees and close partners were welcomed to explore the state-of-the-art site, emphasizing the company's commitment to developing high-quality machinery tailored to meet the diverse needs of the European market. The Ruma plant is strategically positioned to enhance Haitian’s ability to optimize logistics, conduct research and development, and support long-term growth within the region.
The production facilities this year will focus specifically on the manufacturing of injection molding machines, leveraging two established series: the Mars series, which features servo-hydraulic toggle technology, and the Jupiter series, known for its servo-hydraulic two-platen design. With over 50 machines already produced, the facility is poised to deliver its first units to customers, reinforcing Haitian’s reputation as a leading manufacturer in the industry.
In addition to producing machinery, the Ruma facility is set to function as a central hub for supplying spare parts throughout Europe. The strategic establishment of on-site warehouses in both Serbia and Germany (home to Haitian's European headquarters) aims to reduce customer downtime by ensuring quick access to essential components. This logistic framework is designed to meet the immediate demands of the market while also supporting future expansions.
Recognizing the unique requirements of Europe’s plastics processing sector, Haitian Serbia is enhancing its production capacity for high-end machinery and integrated solutions. To realize this vision, the company is actively recruiting engineers with expertise in mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components specifically tailored for injection molding equipment. The establishment of a dedicated European R&D team marks another milestone, one focused on developing performance-centric, market-specific applications.
This investment in the Serbian production facility aligns perfectly with Haitian’s strategic objectives, which revolve around regional headquarters, localized production, and the establishment of multiple application centers throughout Europe. By investing in local capabilities and infrastructure, Haitian is not only enhancing its operational efficiency but also ensuring its machinery and turnkey solutions are optimized for the unique needs of each market segment.
The soft opening of this facility symbolizes Haitian's commitment to being a long-term partner to the European plastics and manufacturing sectors. The Ruma plant is equipped not only for current market demands but also has additional land available for future expansion, underlining Haitian's dedication to continuous growth and adaptability in a changing industrial landscape.
As Haitian continues to expand its footprint in Europe, the company reinforces its mission to create and extend advantages for its customers, ensuring they have access to cutting-edge technology and a reliable supply chain that keeps pace with industry advancements. Haitian's operations in Serbia stand as a testament to this vision, marking the beginning of a new chapter in its journey across the European market.
