The fragrant and crispy cookies from the American country dessert shop, Stella's Cookies, have officially opened their doors on the first floor of Ueno Marui. This store is operated by Marui Co., Ltd., which is based in Nakano, Tokyo, under the leadership of President Masahiro Aono.

Stella's Cookies are known for their delightful crunchy texture. They are made from a special blend of flour, focusing on granule size and gluten viscosity, crafted by skilled bakers who personally assess the dough based on daily temperature and humidity conditions. The Story of Aunt Stella

Aunt Stella, who hails from the Pennsylvania Dutch Country, was a kindergarten teacher with a passion for baking cookies and cakes. Her large, aromatic cookies even won prizes at local baking contests. It was after her nephew, Joseph Leadankle, introduced her flavorful cookies in Japan that Stella's Cookies gained popularity.

Customers can choose from about 15 different types of cookies that change seasonally in a self-serve portion area. There is a mix of classic year-round cookies and limited-time seasonal flavors available for customers to pack themselves. The cookies are sold at 680 yen for 100g, which typically amounts to about 6 to 7 cookies.

This is the most popular cookie, featuring a buttery flavor that can be enjoyed with every bite thanks to generous chocolate chip distribution.
