Yoshimitsu Tsutaya's First Art Book 'E art H' to Be Released Simultaneously in Japan and France

Unveiling 'E art H' by Yoshimitsu Tsutaya

On October 10, 2025, Tsutaya Design is set to launch the debut art book titled 'E art H' by renowned floral artist Yoshimitsu Tsutaya. This highly anticipated book will be released simultaneously in Japan and France, showcasing themes centered around the five elements: Fire, Air, E art H, Space, and Water. Through a combination of floral arrangements and photography, Tsutaya aims to capture the transience of nature and existence.

The book features captivating images taken from various locations including Yakushima, Tokyo, Northern France, and Paris. Each photograph serves as an introspective moment, inviting readers to reflect on their inner selves. The artistic vision behind the images was executed under the discerning eye of Ai Tamura-R., a creative director who has directed maisons in Paris for over three decades. The photography was entrusted to London-based photographer Paola Peroni, who beautifully captures Tsutaya's delicate representations of floral life.

Furthermore, Éric Pillault, an art director with extensive experience in Paris, contributed to the book's art direction, bringing together two years’ worth of efforts into a stunning publication.

To celebrate the book’s release, a launch event is scheduled for October 10 and 11, 2025, at the Nozans Sky showroom in Shibuya, Tokyo. Additionally, a parallel event will occur in Paris in March 2026, marking an exciting opportunity for fans and art patrons to engage directly with the artist and his work.

Insights from Yoshimitsu Tsutaya

In his own words, Yoshimitsu Tsutaya expresses the importance of capturing “that moment” while creating 'E art H'. Instead of relying on a rigid blueprint, he embraced emotions and inspirations that surfaced during the creative process. This concept aligns with the French term “spontané,” emphasizing an organic interaction with nature. According to Tsutaya, flowers are living entities, and he strives to express their essence through an intuitive perspective rather than just intellectual thought.

He elaborates on the interconnectedness among plants, animals, nature, and humans, highlighting how they coexist to create a beautiful harmony, or ART, on Earth. Tsutaya hopes that the book will allow many people to experience the beauty of this world.
