Originating from the historic 'Morihan', established in 1836 in Kyoto, MACCHA HOUSE prides itself on offering high-quality Uji matcha. The shop features a warm, serene atmosphere reminiscent of traditional Japanese tea houses, allowing visitors to engage their senses through the sound of the chasen, the rich aroma of freshly whisked matcha, and the steam rising from the kettle.

Among their array of offerings, the must-try item is their Uji Matcha Tiramisu, priced at 950 yen (tax included). This delightful creation served in a hinoki (cypress) box brilliantly balances the bittersweetness of high-quality matcha with the gentle sweetness of mascarpone cream. Grilled Shiratama with Matcha An is a special item available exclusively at the Komachi Street location, priced at 1,000 yen. This dish features roasted shiratama (glutinous rice dumplings) paired with a subtly sweet white bean paste, presented alongside freshly whisked matcha. By mixing in matcha, you can adjust the sweetness to your liking, creating a truly personalized treat.
