On March 4, 2026, the Lincoln Partnership for Economic Development (LPED) proudly announced the six winners of this year's LaunchLNK Grant Program, each receiving a non-dilutive grant of $20,000. The program aims to support high-growth startups establishing or expanding operations in Lincoln, highlighting the city's commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurial success.

The LaunchLNK Grant Program has been instrumental in promoting local entrepreneurship since its inception in 2018. This year's cohort showcases LPED's dedication to empowering startups that have the potential to generate significant economic impact. Competitive Selection Process


The application period for the 2026 cohort opened in late 2025, drawing considerable interest with 63 submissions. A rigorous selection process took place, involving multiple rounds of assessment by both external and internal LPED staff, ultimately selecting the top six startups from a competitive pool. This year’s winners embody diverse industries, indicating a rich entrepreneurial landscape in Lincoln and its surroundings.

1. DineU: This platform revolutionizes on-campus food delivery by allowing universities and dining providers to integrate secure delivery options into existing mobile ordering systems. DineU connects students with verified couriers, enhancing security while providing convenient dining options.

2. Doomsun: Operating in the fintech sector, Doomsun focuses on algorithmic trading with a unique approach to the evolving energy market. Their tools aim to simplify complex market dynamics, offering clarity amid uncertainties.

3. GrazeStat: Tackling a significant challenge in the equine industry, GrazeStat provides a predictive health management solution to identify health issues in horses before they escalate. Their innovative system aims to transform the way equine health is monitored, potentially saving costs and lives.

4. Kimto: This family operating system streamlines health, wealth, and legacy planning into a unified platform, facilitating continuity during critical times. Kimto strives to minimize familial conflicts and ensure alignment when it matters most.

5. MicroFarm OS: Designed to empower backyard growers, MicroFarm OS connects local producers with buyers, assisting in planning crops and coordinating sales efforts. This initiative aims to encourage community food production and generate additional income for families.

6. Rheam Medical: Innovating in the surgical landscape, Rheam Medical is developing an automated trocar placement system to improve the safety and consistency of peritoneal access during minimally invasive surgeries. Their technology integrates real-time visualization and pressure sensing to enhance procedural execution.
