Dahua Technology Partners with WWF for Sustainability
Dahua Technology, a global leader in AIoT video solutions, is taking sustainable initiatives to new heights. On January 24, 2025, the company held its inaugural strategic meeting with the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) in Hong Kong, aiming to forge a comprehensive partnership that emphasizes sustainability on a global scale.
At this pivotal meeting, Dahua's Senior Vice President, Bob Chen, was recognized by WWF with a specially crafted trophy featuring the endangered golden plover, commemorating Dahua's significant past contributions to global sustainability and ecological protection. These advanced technologies have enabled precise remote monitoring of rare species such as penguins, Hainan gibbons, and giant pandas, providing vital data for wildlife conservation. In return, WWF expressed its commitment to biodiversity conservation, renewable energy, and pollution reduction, highlighting its ongoing efforts to protect the Mai Po Nature Reserve and its wetlands.
Bob Chen underscored the shared responsibility businesses have towards sustainability, stating, "Dahua is committed to collaborating with organizations like WWF to leverage our technological strengths and resources to contribute to ecological conservation and promote sustainable practices across industries and communities."
In addition to independent initiatives, Dahua actively champions collective action within the industry by uniting partners to foster greater social impact.
