Asahi Kogyo Achieves Outstanding Recognition in CDP Supplier Engagement Assessment

Asahi Kogyo Co., Ltd. has recently announced that it has achieved the highest rating of 'A' in the CDP's 2025 Supplier Engagement Assessment (SEA). The CDP, established in the UK in 2000, is an international nonprofit organization that engages with global institutional investors concerned about environmental issues. The evaluations are conducted on an eight-point scale: A, A-, B, B-, C, C-, D, D-. The recognition from CDP is widely regarded as the global standard for environmental disclosure among corporations and governments.

CDP's Supplier Engagement Assessment evaluates how effectively companies collaborate with suppliers to address climate change challenges across their supply chains. The assessment scores organizations based on five key performance areas: governance and business strategy, goals, Scope 3 emissions, risk management processes, and value chain engagement.
