Crunch Fitness Launches Nationwide Fundraiser for ALS Research with Exciting Classes

Crunch Fitness Hosts Nationwide Fundraising Event for ALS

Crunch Fitness, known for its inclusive and entertaining approach to fitness, recently announced an exciting nationwide fundraising event to support Augie's Quest to Cure ALS. The event aims to raise awareness and funds for research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. This initiative will take place at various participating locations across the United States on Saturday, May 31, from 9 AM to 10:30 AM local time.

This year's fundraising initiative promises an innovative 90-minute class called Love Your Muscles, which includes a series of engaging formats like strength, core, mobility, and a vibrant dance segment at the end. With participation open to both Crunch members and non-members, the class costs $20 to join, and all proceeds will go directly to the organization focused on ALS research. Besides, participants can contribute by donating even if they choose not to take a class.

Class Structure

The Love Your Muscles class features various engaging formats designed to accommodate different fitness levels while promoting a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Participants can look forward to:

1. Love Your Muscles Augie's Quest Fundraiser (with Zumba)
- This segment consists of three 20-minute segments incorporating Stripped Down Strength, Tough Core, and Joint Ventures, finishing with a 30-minute Zumba party, energizing participants while celebrating movement and fitness.

2. Love Your Muscles Augie's Quest Fundraiser (with So You Think You Can't Dance)
- This segment also comprises three 20-minute parts focusing on strength, core, and mobility, culminating in a unique dance experience inspired by the hit show, providing an enjoyable and empowering workout.

Chad Waetzig, the CMO of Crunch Fitness and a member of Augie's Quest fitness advisory council, expressed enthusiasm about uniting the Crunch community through fitness classes aimed at a greater cause. He stated, "At Crunch, we believe in making serious fitness fun, including engaging our community with awesome classes to support a larger cause. We are proud to have supported Augie's Quest over the years through direct donations and by helping to raise awareness and funds for ALS research in support of Augie Nieto's incredible mission."
