The city of Tokyo, in collaboration with the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau, is excited to announce the return of the Tokyo Tourism Business Meetup after two years. This event is set to welcome travel operators from 15 overseas markets, aiming to create fresh business opportunities with local tourism-related businesses.

This year’s meetup will not only include a business matching session but also feature market seminars led by Tokyo tourism representatives, as well as individual consultation opportunities. Participants can expect to engage with industry experts and gain valuable insights into overseas market trends.

When:

• - February 3, 2024 (Tuesday) from 10:30 AM to 4:00 PM (Tentative)

Target Markets: China, South Korea, Taiwan, Malaysia, Singapore, and Thailand

• - February 4, 2024 (Wednesday) from 10:00 AM to 4:20 PM (Tentative)

Target Markets: Los Angeles, New York, Canada, the UK, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, and Australia

On February 4, following the business matching session, there will be a networking opportunity with travel operators from all 15 markets, allowing participants to foster connections and discuss potential collaborations.

What to Expect

• - Business Matching Sessions: Engage in pre-scheduled and casual meetings with travel operators from abroad. Each session will be 25 minutes long.
• - Overseas Market Seminars: Listen to market seminars presented by Tokyo tourism representatives, with approximately 20-minute presentations focused on the latest trends and future visitor needs in various markets.
• - Consultation Sessions: Individual consultations regarding inbound tourism will be available for 25 minutes, allowing for personalized discussions tailored to specific inquiries.
