Union Home Foundation Achieves Significant Milestones in 2025 Giving Review

Union Home Foundation 2025 Giving Review

The Union Home Foundation, a charitable organization supported by Union Home Mortgage, has revealed an impressive summary of its charitable contributions for the year 2025. With a mission focused on empowering families through essential resources and tools, the Foundation has significantly impacted communities across the United States by emphasizing economic self-sufficiency.

A Year of Generosity

In 2025, the Foundation distributed more than $200,000, with a remarkable $175,500 allocated specifically towards grants for various nonprofit organizations nationwide. Since its establishment in 2015, the Union Home Foundation has contributed over $2.1 million to support nonprofits that are actively working to enhance financial literacy and housing initiatives among underserved populations.

Bill Cosgrove, CEO of Union Home Mortgage and Chairman of the Foundation's Board, expressed his gratitude and highlighted the importance of collaboration with nonprofit partners. This marked a decade of impactful work for the Union Home Foundation, demonstrating the collective effort of Union Home Mortgage Partners in creating a positive influence in their communities.

Recognizing Partner Contributions

Beyond financial contributions, the Foundation encourages UHM partners to engage in community service. The Partner Impact Award program acknowledges employees who dedicate their time and effort to volunteer service, allowing them to donate $2,000 to a nonprofit of their choice. This initiative resulted in a total of $12,000 donated during 2025 alone, showcasing the commitment of UHM Partners to enhancing community welfare.

The Partner Up for Plates food drive further illustrated the commitment to fighting hunger, with UHM partners contributing over 4,000 lbs. of non-perishable food to the Greater Cleveland Food Bank, alongside a $10,000 donation to Feeding Tampa Bay as part of the UHM Gasparilla Bowl partnership. This effort has amounted to $40,000 in contributions to Feeding Tampa Bay over the past four years, equating to an astonishing 200,000 meals distributed across ten counties in Florida.

For summer initiatives, the Partner Backpack Project generated $2,800 and a considerable amount of school supplies that were gifted to nonprofits and schools nationwide, driving home the Foundation's dedication to education and youth support.

Emphasizing Volunteerism

The culture at Union Home Mortgage strongly promotes volunteerism, as evidenced by the over 1,600 hours of volunteer time off utilized by non-sales Partners in 2025. A highlight of the year was the L.E.A.D. Internship program, where eighty interns dedicated their time to serve local nonprofits on designated service days, fostering a spirit of community involvement among the next generation of leaders.

Another significant collaboration was with Greater Cleveland Habitat for Humanity, in which the Foundation sponsored a home build, with construction set to be completed by April 2025. This not only enhances housing opportunities for families but also illustrates the Foundation's hands-on approach to community service.

Future Aspirations

Ashley Ali, Director of Corporate Communications, expressed her appreciation to all Union Home Partners and nonprofit collaborators who have contributed to the success of their community programs. Their altruistic spirit has fueled the Foundation's growth and effectiveness, aiming to improve lives across the nation.
