Seminar on Energy Utilization and Carbon Neutrality in Shunan City
Japan Planning Institute (JPI) is excited to announce a seminar featuring Mr. Kentaro Yuyama, the head of the Carbon Neutral Promotion Office at Shunan City's Department of Commerce and Industry. The seminar, titled "Utilization of Regional Characteristics in Energy and Challenges for a Carbon Neutral Shunan Complex," will take place in Tokyo on
Tuesday, October 21, 2025, from 13:30 to 15:30.
This event will delve into how Shunan City can utilize its unique regional characteristics to harness energy resources effectively. The city is known for producing a significant amount of high-purity hydrogen and boasts that forested areas comprise about 80% of its landscape. This creates a unique opportunity to explore the utilization of hydrogen and woody biomass resources.
