This feature is designed to assist writers by thoroughly checking for typos and common idiomatic errors, helping them maintain the quality of their writing.

What is Novel AI Proofreading?

AlphaPolis has long been a platform where a diverse range of novels can be submitted and enjoyed, having hosted over 200,000 works to date. As part of its commitment to enhancing the user experience, AlphaPolis has previously developed tools to help users find their preferred novels more easily, including detailed search functionalities, personalized recommendation algorithms using machine learning, and the interactive novel search assistant feature which combines generative AI and search-augmented generation (RAG).

The introduction of the "Novel AI Proofreading" feature marks a new phase in supporting authors in their creative endeavors. This tool allows for the AI-driven correction of mistakes such as typos within drafts prior to publication. AlphaPolis users logged into their accounts can enjoy up to 50,000 characters of free proofreading assistance each month, providing substantial support for their creative writing.

Importantly, it is crucial to note that this tool does not generate content directly; it solely serves to proofread manuscripts submitted by the authors themselves. Initially, the feature has been released on the AlphaPolis website, with plans to implement it in the AlphaPolis novel submission app soon. The app is anticipated to bring the same robust proofreading support to mobile users, fostering further creative endeavors on the go.
