B.A Collaborates with Azuma Makoto in Shanghai

From November 11, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the renowned floral artist Azuma Makoto will present his latest exhibition titled "Square Nature" at the West Bund in Shanghai. This highly anticipated event will feature an exclusive partnership with POLA, one of Japan's leading skincare brands, which will showcase its premium B.A products during the exhibition.

Concept of "Square Nature"

The exhibition explores an intriguing concept where organic nature is framed within artificial boundaries, revealing glimpses of small natural realms. Within this 'cut-out' version of nature, plants quietly breathe, germinate, and bloom, performing the silent cycle of life. "Square Nature" prompts a reevaluation of the relationship between humanity and the natural world through the juxtaposition of freedom and order.

Makoto's work draws attention to the ecosystem of nature residing in artificial spaces, encouraging viewers to reflect on the intersections between nature and technology, as well as the connections that bind us to the earth.

B.A's Commitment to Artistic Expression

Launched in 1985, B.A carries a brand policy that articulates, "Human potential is limitless." As part of its commitment to blending artistry with luxury skincare, B.A has collaborated with Azuma Makoto since 2015, allowing the artist to vividly express the life force of B.A through his artwork. This year's upcoming B.A, the seventh generation, conveys the message that "time does not exist" by presenting "plants, nature, and humans" in a multifaceted visual display.
