Embrace the Morning Spectacle: Breakfast Trekking Plans in Tsuwano
Starting from October 1, 2025, Relo Hotels & Resorts will unveil an invigorating breakfast experience at Yutoriro Tsuwano, a unique hot spring ryokan located in the charming Tsuwano area. The new plan, titled “Tsuwano Castle Trekking Guide & Breakfast at the Summit,” invites visitors to explore the scenic beauty of Tsuwano while enjoying a specially prepared breakfast by the hotel's head chef.
Located at 82-3 Goto, Tsuwano Town, Shimane Prefecture, Yutoriro Tsuwano is the only natural hot spring inn in the Tsuwano area, themed around “A Stay to Traverse Time.” The newly revamped plan not only includes guided trekking to the historic Tsuwano Castle ruins but also allows guests to savor their breakfast surrounded by breathtaking views atop the mountain. This year, the program has expanded to include weekdays in response to popular demand, allowing more guests to enjoy this splendid experience.
Last year's offering was limited to weekends, primarily due to weather conditions affecting visibility of the sea of clouds often witnessed from the castle ruins. However, the new plan allows for flexibility with an alternative mini-bus tour for days of inclement weather, ensuring that guests can still explore the Tsuwano region regardless of the conditions. This makes it a perfect getaway for autumn outings where outdoor activities bring a refreshing start to the day.
