LONGi and Energy 3000 Forge New Agreement for Enhanced Solar Power Solutions

On February 11, 2025, a significant partnership formed between LONGi Green Energy Technology Co., Ltd. and Energy 3000 Solar GmbH, a leading distributor of photovoltaic products in Europe. This strategic cooperation was formalized in a signing ceremony held at LONGi's headquarters in Xi'an, where top executives from both companies were present.

Michael Bairhuber, Vice President of Energy 3000, and Jiang Dongyu, President of the Distributed Generation Business Group at LONGi, put pen to paper on a deal that will see LONGi supply an additional 100 megawatts (MW) of its cutting-edge Hi-MO X10 solar modules to Energy 3000. This agreement builds upon a formidable 1.5 gigawatt (GW) framework that had previously been established between the two parties, suggesting a mutual commitment to expanding their collaboration in the renewable energy sector.

The Hi-MO X10 modules are at the forefront of solar technology, utilizing HPBC 2.0 cell technology combined with high-quality TaiRay wafers. This innovative design results not only in superior power generation capabilities but also in enhanced reliability and aesthetic appeal. Each Hi-MO X10 module boasts a mass production power rating of up to 670 watts—this marks a significant advancement, exceeding the power output of TOPCon modules by over 30 watts within the same physical area. In addition, these high-efficiency modules can achieve efficiencies of up to 24.8%. This means that customers can unlock greater energy generation potential even from limited installation spaces, thereby enhancing overall power output and increasing revenue from energy production.

As a result of this latest agreement, LONGi and Energy 3000 aim to drive further applications of high-value HPBC 2.0 products within the European market.
