Envision Energy Accelerates Wind Energy Evolution with DNV Certification for TG Pro Turbine
Envision Energy Accelerates Wind Energy Evolution with DNV Certification for TG Pro
Envision Energy, a global leader in green technology, has achieved a significant milestone by receiving DNV certification for its TG Pro wind turbine (EN-206/8.35 60 Hz). This accomplishment underscores the successful partnership between Envision and DNV and reaffirms the technical maturity and market readiness of next-generation wind turbine platforms.
The certification was presented during the WindEnergy Hamburg 2026 event by Mette Redanz, Vice President of Renewable Energy Certification at DNV, and Yimin Lou, Senior Vice President and Chief Product Officer at Envision Energy. The certification ceremony highlighted the importance of independent validation and industry collaboration in advancing cutting-edge wind technology.
Since its launch in 2024, the TG Pro turbine has received multiple orders domestically in China and across international markets, undergoing extensive prototype testing and commercial validation. Built on Envision's Model TG Pro platform, the turbine integrates high-performance architecture, optimized aerodynamic design, and smart control technologies to enhance energy capture and generation across varying wind conditions.
Moreover, the TG Pro platform is designed for long-term reliability, featuring reinforced key components and engineering solutions tailored to demanding operational environments. The validation process has included component testing, digital modeling, prototype operation at multiple sites, and commercial deployment, thereby providing a comprehensive foundation for assessing the turbine's performance and reliability. The receipt of DNV certification affirms that the turbine's design meets applicable certification requirements.
Yimin Lou reflected on the ongoing development of next-generation turbine portfolios, stating, "The certification of DNV for TG Pro once again demonstrates the platform’s maturity and its readiness to service clients across various international markets. As Envision continues to develop renewable energy systems, we will persist in promoting intelligent, high-performance, and reliable turbine technologies for future energy systems, enabling renewable resources to deliver greater value at scale."
Mette Redanz added, "Independent certification provides a crucial foundation for trust in wind turbine technology, assisting manufacturers, developers, and other stakeholders in appraising the performance, reliability, and compliance of new turbine platforms. We are pleased to support Envision through the certification of TG Pro."
In addition to TG Pro, Envision is also showcasing a broader portfolio of wind turbines at WindEnergy Hamburg 2026. The EN-156/5.0 MW platform has received preliminary certification from Bureau Veritas, with the certification process completed in less than five months. This rapid assessment offers an independent evaluation of the design and technical capabilities of the platform as it progresses toward wider commercial deployment.
Engineered for the Asia-Pacific region, the EN-156/5.0 MW is being deployed at the Manar wind energy project in Sri Lanka, representing Envision's first utility-scale wind turbine order in the country. With a hub height of 110 meters and enhanced corrosion resistance, the turbine is tailored for challenging coastal conditions characterized by high salinity and moisture.
The combination of international certification and real project deployment demonstrates the platform’s focus on reliability and environmental adaptability, reinforcing its application in Sri Lanka and other markets throughout the region.
Together, these two certification milestones reflect Envision’s ongoing commitment to rigorous design, independent validation, and product development for specific markets. Through collaboration with leading international certification bodies and clients across various markets, Envision advances wind turbine technologies that embody performance, reliability, and adaptability to the evolving global energy system.
