Key Features of the New Store



Vallarta’s Modesto location spans an impressive 45,099 square feet and will create approximately 227 jobs in the area, overcoming its latest opening in Clovis, which brought 218 jobs. The store will house a variety of departments that reflect the culinary richness of the Latino culture:

1. Guacamole Station: Here, customers can personalize their guacamole along with fresh Pico De Gallo, ensuring a delightful culinary experience.
2. Sushi Station: Vallarta offers premium, handcrafted sushi rolls prepared daily with only the finest ingredients – perfect for a quick and tasty meal.
3. La Isla: This section provides fresh-pressed juices and Vallarta’s unique agua frescas across a spectrum of flavors.
4. La Fruteria: Customers can indulge in juicy fruit bowls garnished with Tajin and lime juice.
5. Cremería: Offering an array of authentic Latin American cheeses and house-made cremas, this deli-style section is a nod to traditional flavors.
6. Panaderia: Freshly baked Latin American goods and signature sweets await customers in this tempting bakery.
7. Carniceria: Celebrated for its Carne Asada, the meat department offers premium cuts not commonly found in other supermarkets.
8. Tortilleria: Customers can purchase fresh corn and flour tortillas, made in-house using high-quality ingredients crafted through an authentic process.
9. La Cocina: This area specializes in ready-made meals featuring traditional dishes from Mexico and Central America, providing comfort food convenient for shoppers on the go.
10. Dulcería: Vallarta carries a colorful array of traditional sweets and decorations for every celebration.
11. Florería: A floral section featuring locally sourced arrangements and various potted plants to brighten any occasion.

Community Commitment and Support



As part of its commitment to the local Modesto community, Vallarta Supermarkets will donate $7,500 to local charities and schools. The first 300 customers attending the grand opening will also receive reusable grocery bags filled with groceries, highlighting the store’s dedication to giving back.

Utilizing the Vallarta Go delivery service, customers will have the convenience of shopping from home, with options for at-home delivery including items available from La Cocina through DoorDash.
