Belgian Beer Weekend 2025 in Shinjuku
The Belgian Beer Weekend 2025 (BBW Shinjuku) is set to take place from December 3rd to 7th at the triangular plaza of the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building, marking its fifth anniversary this year. The event promises an extraordinary experience featuring 69 different types of Belgian beers across 15 different styles. Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in traditional Belgian dishes, such as the famous fries known as “frits,” meatballs in tomato sauce, and succulent roast beef.
Special Dinner by the Belgian Embassy Chef
A highlight of this year's event is the exclusive dinner course prepared by the Executive Chef of the Belgian Embassy in Japan. This special dining experience is limited to three days—Friday, Saturday, and Sunday—and features a carefully curated selection of traditional Belgian dishes paired with exquisite Belgian beers. This unique opportunity provides attendees with a taste of Belgium directly from the diplomatic kitchen. Reservations are required, with each dinner accommodating only 24 guests.
Chocolate and Cheese Pairing Corner
Back by popular demand, the collaboration with the prestigious Belgian chocolate brand DelReY will return this year, offering attendees the chance to relish a luxurious pairing of their diamond chocolates—Caramel, Perugina Tonka, and Lychee—with selected Belgian beers. Additionally, this year introduces a new ‘cheese pairing’ section, showcasing four varieties of cheese, including Wensleydale and blue cheese, that perfectly complement the beers available. Participants can explore their ideal pairings to enhance their tasting experience.
Weekend Entertainment with DJ Nights and Live Performances
The event will feature an array of live performances and DJ nights during the weekends (Friday through Sunday). Friday evening will kick off with a DJ night courtesy of the trio “MIDNIGHT FUNKNESS.” Saturday will showcase a performance by the “MASH String Orchestra,” while the final day will feature a live performance by artist Yoshihiro Tsuji. There will also be engaging activities, including MC-led talks and games, ensuring a festive atmosphere for all attendees.
Celebrating its fifth anniversary, BBW Shinjuku will boast the most comprehensive content yet, maximizing the advantages of the indoor venue to warm up the winter vibes in Shinjuku. Don’t miss out on this chance to wrap up the year 2025 at BBW Shinjuku!
