A signature feature of the interior is a large table crafted from a centuries-old keyaki (zelkova) tree from Tottori, made by the esteemed Kyoto-based workshop, TORINOKI FURNITURE. This table not only accommodates eight people but also showcases the wood's unique textures, creating a cozy atmosphere for sharing acai bowls and coffee.

To elevate the natural experience, the café features potted plants that change weekly, further enhancing the space's warm and inviting appeal.

Premium Coffee from Ogawa Coffee

The espresso drinks at SUGARY Hankyu Sanbangai are crafted using organic JAS-certified beans from the renowned Ogawa Coffee, based in Kyoto. These beans, which rely on natural cultivation methods without pesticides or chemical fertilizers, offer a fragrant aroma reminiscent of yellow peaches, a banana-like acidity, and a balanced sweetness akin to mixed fruit juices. Sourced from diverse regions, including Mexico, Indonesia, Ethiopia, Honduras, and Uganda, this coffee complements SUGARY’s acai offerings, bringing a delightful pairing experience unique to this location.
