Introducing the LiberNovo Maxis Big & Tall Ergonomic Chair: Redefining Comfort and Stability

Introducing the LiberNovo Maxis Big & Tall Ergonomic Chair

Today marks the official launch of the Maxis series by LiberNovo, which has been designed explicitly for big and tall users. Unlike many office chairs that are merely scaled-up versions of standard models, the Maxis chair was developed from the ground up to provide a custom fit for its users.

This new chair addresses three major issues commonly found in traditional seating for larger body types. First, many standard chairs do not adequately support the thighs, leaving larger users uncomfortable. Second, traditional chairs often struggle to support heavier weights effectively, which can lead to an unstable experience, especially in reclining positions. Finally, lumbar support can be insufficient or ineffective as the day wears on, leading to discomfort and poor posture.

The Maxis chair features a wide 52 cm sitting area that fully supports the thighs without providing unnecessary pressure. The foam material used is specifically manufactured with varying densities, ensuring that it retains its shape and continues to provide support even under significant weight. Additionally, the high backrest and adjustable neck support are designed to maintain spine and neck alignment, ensuring comfort during extended periods of sitting. Notably, the neck support is positioned correctly on the neck, rather than behind the head, which enhances comfort during use.

One standout feature of the Maxis chair is its BIFMA-certified frame, built to hold up to 181 kg (399 lb). Stability is further reinforced by the five-position reclining mechanism, which allows users to tilt back between 105° and 160°. Even under varying loads, the dynamic support system keeps the chair grounded, ensuring it remains steady whether one is focused on tasks, relaxing between duties, or reclined during long periods of use.

For those who spend a full day seated—whether at a desk or during leisure activities such as gaming—the investment in a Maxis chair pays off. Comfort is sustained well beyond just the initial hours of use, making it a practical choice for busy individuals.

The Maxis series is available in three configurations, catering to various tastes and budgets. The base model named “Manual” starts at €829 and includes essential features like the five-position reclining adjustment along with a framework made from aluminum alloy. The “Electric” version, priced at €1,079, comes in sophisticated colors such as Graphite or Glacier, adding an electric lumbar support and spine-stretching capability that can be easily adjusted at the push of a button. At the top tier, the “Airflow” model, priced at €1,269, offers an innovative “Active Airflow” seat ventilation system for those who tend to feel warm when seated.

On the same day, LiberNovo is also releasing two updates to its Omni line. The Omni SE is a manually adjustable model designed with the same dynamic ergonomics principles, while Omni Pro includes a fully electric version with advanced lumbar and spine-stretching features.

With this expansive range launched at introductory prices effective until July 31, the Maxis series caters to various body shapes and complements most budgetary constraints, making it an accessible option for everyone seeking durable and ergonomic seating solutions.
