Infortrend Launches Innovative Enterprise Cloud (IEC) for AI

On May 27, 2025, Infortrend® Technology, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise storage and artificial intelligence solutions, announced the launch of its novel Infortrend Enterprise Cloud (IEC). This all-in-one private cloud aims to empower businesses across various applications and sectors to accelerate their AI initiatives.

The IEC merges computing, storage, and Kubernetes application management into a single platform that supports both cloud-native applications via containers and traditional enterprise applications through virtual machines. Notably, it encourages seamless node expansion, ensures uninterrupted service continuity, and boosts performance as workloads grow, all while providing support for cluster computing and scalability.

Powered by high-performance dual Intel Xeon Scalable or AMD EPYC 9004 CPUs, Nvidia GPUs, and U.2 NVMe SSDs, IEC presents an ideal solution for a diverse range of resource-heavy AI workloads. Companies often find deploying AI applications on traditional servers complex and time-consuming; however, the IEC allows platform setup in under 30 minutes. It enables users to quickly launch applications using the built-in Application Marketplace and smoothly transition existing enterprise applications.

The IEC also optimizes resource efficiency through automatic load balancing and GPU optimization, which includes GPU sharing, transitions, and support for up to 80 GPUs across 20 nodes. Comprehensive data protection tools ensure constant operation and safeguard against data loss. For increasing data needs, IEC offers capacity expansion through external Infortrend storage solutions. To accommodate specific requirements, the cloud provides three computing node models with flexible GPU and U.2 NVMe SSD configurations.
